UK Music Artist Tommy Stoneberg Releases New Single "Uberman"

The song follows his previous release, "World on Fire", and tells the story of a late-night rideshare trip through the eyes of a passenger who starts to see the driver as the real protagonist of the night.

The title plays on two ideas at once. Uber is the ride-hailing app that shapes the plot, and Uberman nods to the philosophical term Übermensch, the figure who carries weight most people never notice. Stoneberg applies that idea to a driver working through the small hours, ferrying strangers home while his own story stays out of view.

Musically, "Uberman" keeps the melodic, story-driven sensibility that marked "World on Fire" while pushing into a fuller, more rhythmic arrangement. Verses move at the pace of city streets at night, and the chorus opens into a wider, more anthemic hook built around the title phrase.
Stoneberg wrote and recorded the track in London, working through the mix over several sessions to match the song's late-night setting with a sound that stays warm rather than sparse. "Uberman" is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
